These books are a fantastic tool to use on the course. I have found that the green reading book to be very accurate and help on putts that are hard to determine if it goes left or right. I will say, you will need to be good at math in order to calculate your carry yardages if you aren't playing from the tips but otherwise its a great product. I will continue to add to my collection as i play more and more tournaments.
I have tried several different books and this is by far one of the best and most detailed, especially for the greens. The course layout is average but the greens makes it what it is. I use these for all the amateur tournaments I play in. Would recommend to all!
For a tournament player, these books give every bit of info you would need and really help you plot out how you are going to attack the golf course. The color heatmap for green slopes give you a quick gut check on where is the spot to miss based on pin position. I will be ordering these for each event I play.
so glad puttview hit my instagram feed. these books are concise, easy to use & understand. They're so easy, that my daughter now enjoys using a yardage book for her jr tournaments. I'll be buying these for years....
I wouldn’t mind a digital version so we can print our own.
I tried Strackaline and honestly I prefer these. I also tried making my own but it takes way too long and it is hard to be accurate like these guys. Wouldn't mind if price was slightly lower though. Also they should allow people who buy their books to at least have access to pinsheets of their course on their iOS app, that at minimum should be included.
I highly recommend these books for anyone that is either playing the same course many times a year, or for their first time. The only way a golfer can improve is by way of information. You can never have enough, and these books give a mile ahead jump start yardages, incline, decline, room to write notes, etc.. bought my first two last year and purchased many more this year. You can thank me later
Our sons have been using the Putt View books and think they are amazing. Not only are the greens super detailed, breaks and heat maps, but what our sons love most are all the detailed yardages of each hole, to each hazard, elevation changes, the works. We plan on getting a book for every tournament we play in. Every time another player or family sees how good the books are, they say, "We are going to order one of those!"
The PuttView books offer the golfer an important asset when it comes to putting on the green. When unsure which way the green is breaking this book will guide you in the right direction. You still have to match the line and pace but the help these books provide will make your decisions more accurate.
