Check the PuttView Yardage & Green Book - PGA West Stadium
One of Pete Dye's most famous designs, the PGA West Stadium course features one of his most diabolical holes: Alcatraz. The Par 3 17th measures 165 yards (33 yards longer than his more famed island green at TPC Sawgrass), and has a much smaller surface area with the green only measuring 19 yards in width.
The comparisons don't end there. The 17th at TPC Sawgrass has 3912 square feet of landing area compared to only 3765 square feet at Alcatraz.
In this weeks "Check the PuttView book" take a look at what the players will face at the 2022 American Express Championship. If nothing else you can test out the "everything breaks towards Indio" philosophy! Hint: it doesn't.
