The PuttView book is in my estimation the best yardage and greens book on the market.
Top 50 Ranked AJGA player
I mainly used my rangefinder because traditional yardage books didn’t give me a lot of information. The PuttView book changes everything to the point where I wouldn’t play a tournament round without it.
These books are unreal. I can't believe how accurate the heat maps are on the green. These have been extremely helpful and definitely saves me multiple strokes every round. They're quick and easy to read too, so you're not spending a bunch of time trying to read a putts. I'll definitely be buying more!
My son is an elite level junior. Puttview helped him to a top 5 finish in his first AJGA event. A course he had never seen before. The information and data that is crucial to playing great golf was there. I would highly encourage everyone to try Puttview books, Not as expensive as the competition, with the same data.
As important as the right gear in your bag! Whether it’s tournaments or your weekend rounds with friends, definitely a must have for your favorite courses!
When learning a new golf course this book does wonders. There is almost no learning curve when you have one of these!
Got my first book two weeks ago and it was spot on! Especially on the greens. I had a putt that looked like it was breaking right to left and I looked at the book and it said left to right. Trusted the book and made my putt! Definitely recommend!! Ordered another book already!
I managed to get my hands on the Torrey Pines South book. It's crazy how accurate these books are, you don't even need a rangefinder. You can truly play like the pros do.
The detail on the greens is unreal! Easy to read and super helpful.
These books are great. They help out tremendously and will definitely save you some strokes. Recommend if you play tournament golf or even if you just want to beat your buddies. Make sure you buy these.
I have used PuttView in college and itnis the best yardage books I have used. They come as precise as they can be.
I bought the greens and yardage book for my local country club (Columbia Edge Water, Portland) and it is exactly what I was looking for. the green maps and the yardage maps are very useful and accurate. Beyond just the quality of the books, I was also very impressed with the customer support. The first time my books got shipped out, USPS didn't deliver them and I reached out notifying Phil from Puttview customer service about this. He immediately shipped a second copy. Thanks to USPS the 2nd copy also didn't get delivered. Phil reached out to confirm if I've received my books and as I hadn't he shipped third set of books out via UPS which finally made their way to me.
Overall super happy with the customer service and the quality of information on these books.
I love these books. Whenever I am heading to a new course I check to see if there is a Puttview yardage+green book for the course. They are phenomenal tools for the game. Some courses I've looked for were yardage only so be sure to check. The green portion is my favorite aspect of the books.
The green book I purchased included yardage and greens and it had improved my game and allowed me to improve my green reading. Very solid product and I hope to see more courses with both yardage and greens available soon.
I have three of your books - yardage only, though, the greens weren't available for those courses - and they are fascinating to read. I need to be more familiar with all the information before I'll be totally comfortable using them during a round. I don't want to slow up play so I've been studying how all the data work on my free time. However, my main reason for this review is to review the Search box on your website for searching which courses have books. It is time-consuming and inefficient to have to search for one course at a time, by name. It would make much more sense if I could search a state, and see all the courses in that state for which books are available. Or search a country, and then narrow it down to state or province or county, etc. Having to look up courses one at a time is not the best application of your Search box, IMO. Just FYI.
I purchased a book for my local course that I play regularly. This book is the best value for the money compared to other similar offerings in the industry.
The greens maps are very accurate, however some outdated data is there, would like to see an option to pay for an updated book as soon as possible. Also the numbers on the tees for elevation need to be larger and proofed so they are not blocked by other lines or data in the page. If you simply double the font size it would be very easy to read. This has really helped my green reading abilities as well due to the percentage on the green maps. Google it and you'll be glad you did. Wish they had the green map for every course. Better than golf logix hands down.
If you don’t have a PuttView book, you are giving away strokes. Great detail, and i find them better/more effective/informative than the GolfLogix books
